Big Blog Card Swap

This is the card I received from the Big Blog Card Swap. It is very cute and comes with a tiny matching sticker to close the envelope. You can find more of these at mollymoo

Found this little purse on Craftjuice and wanted to share it with you as it is really cute.
You can find it here

I've been spending quite a bit of time looking at various sites, I suppose just trying to ignore the mess in my craft room.... Well I started and I promise it looks loads better than before!
Of course I had a helping hand.. or was that a paw? I send him packing of course, but I let him have a little tangle to play with.

I spend a bit of time playing with some new goodies, some bead frames I bought last week, can't quite decide which ones work best. Have a look and if you feel like let me know.
Well it's not a lot but I will try to be back with some more creative products and one or two stories of the adventures of Cat

RHS show in Cardiff

This will be a quick post, there is coffee and cakes waiting for me so let me just share some of the magnificent wheelbarrows that the local schools did.

Another funny display were the giant shopping bags.

Finally sunny, time to get pictures of my jewellery!

There we are finally some sunshine, so out on the decking with the camera. Of course halfway through the battery runs out but nevertheless I managed some. Made sure to lock cats out of the way but old dogbeast stood and watched.

The first two pictures are of as set of embroidered felt, inspired by the character Bella from the Twilight Saga and will be for sale under that name in my folksy shop soon.

The third picture is one of a series of key rings, not sure if I will attach these to cards or sell them separately but I had a lot of fun making them.

The last one isn't named yet. Any suggestions welcome. I adapted the old paper bead making technique to some recycled denim. They have been varnished and then I made matching colour felt beads. As the total needed something sparkly I got some chunky tibetan beads and alternated square and round ones. I'm pleased with it.

Lost pussycat!

While I was trying to get to grips with technology, Ice, my black oriental decided to play hide and seek. Every-one looking and calling, but no cat to be seen. Time to check all the hiding places! After 10 minutes looking and calling Mister finally decides to stick his head out from under the duvet and see what all the fuss is about

Well you've got to start somewhere!

Been thinking about setting up a blog for a while but worried about the technicalities. I know how to knit a jumper, sew a dress ,fix broken toys and listen to friend's woes, and find everyone else's lost things but generally not very good with computers! However now I've set up my Folksy shop I thought I better do it so I can share some bits and bobs with you.
