Back at long last!

Well I am shocked to see how long it has been  since I posted on this blog!  I have been making things in the meantime but I admit it has been less. Lots of things have changed.My husband retired and some of the children have left home. We've been making plans for a house move - with all the " oh dear we better tidy this bit and paint that wall" kind of stuff going on so crafting has taken a bit of a back seat. But I have been offered a spot in a shop in a very good position so decided to get the needles and felt out again.   I have been busy with some nice colourful things.

I made a lots of little clippies, I do like these cute little things. They sort of make themselves, everytime I get a pair of buttons or a felt shape I get inspiration. This means I rarely make two pairs identical.  They're so cheerful.

I also made some nice flowery head bands. 

And now I am  making this prototype for a glasses case with two cuddly kitties on the front.  I hope it turns out like I imagine

I discovered I ran out of black embroidery silk so I have to wait till this arrives  before I can finish them, so I will post a picture of the finished case next time.. and I promise I won't leave it so long this time
