I have been quite busy over the last few weeks and the result is that I have had to open another shop on Folksy. A lovely lady named Brenda on the forum (her shop) introduced me and a few fellow folksers to a new art form. Well new to us anyway. She told us about ACEO which is short for Artist Card Editions Originals. These are trading card size (2.5"x 3.5") art works. Apparently they are quite collectable and enormous fun to make. I tried a few different media but at the moment I like water colour best. Astrid's Garden was filling up with all the little art works so I decided to open Hannelore's Atelier just for paintings and other wall art.
Of course I am still listing with the December Elves and they deserve a round of applause for their wonderful creations this month. Here are just a few of their lovelies:

December Elves
It's a bit of a water theme for this post. The Elves have been very busy and this is a selection of rather pretty stuff. Just click on the picture and you'll be whisked away to their respective shops.
Of course I have been a busy elf too, but a little poorly over the last few days. I did however manage to list a few items over the last two days. A pretty pair of earrings and an ACEO.
Here are the earrings
And here is the ACEO, however it has already sold, but there will be more so keep watching this space

Dogs and Cats
No my star homies are not the feature of this blog post but the stars are Elves this time.
December Elves to be precise. Yes of course it is another listing club from Folksy but they just keep making these fantastic items that just deserve to be shown. Anyhow today I decided to have dogs and cats as my theme.

The theme is FOOD !
I think I must be hungry, as all I was finding today whilst going through the November Sparks listings were food related items. Lots of quite yummy looking cup cakes and some hot chillies too.
The thing that made me laugh the most was the reindeer food. I suppose the little blighters need some encouragement to land! Anyhow, enjoy the finds and dash off and buy some! If you are looking for some non-food related stuff, go and have a peek at my shop

Kitties
I realised it has been a while since the stars of the show featured on my blog so I thought it would be nice to post a few photos of them today. They have been up to a bit of mischief over the last few weeks.
They have taken a dislike to my blackout blinds and try to unroll them in the middle of the night and then fall of the window sill! Goodness me, the noise 4 and a half kilo of cat makes when it hits the ground...Oh it might have been me hitting the roof in fright!
My oriental does object to me spending time on the computer and wanders over my laptop in an apparently casual saunter and ALWAYS manages to wander onto my OFF button. It happens too often to be accidental.
The ginger kitten who started out as Satsuma has been renamed as he is one of the greediest cats I know. He is now known as Fat Sumo. I swear he grows another set of legs when I try to stop him pouncing on the other cats food dish. He breaks into the wardrobe where I keep the cat food pouches and rips them open. He is a scandalous glutton!
Anyway that's enough of that, here are a few photos to show their better side and hopefully it will make you smile

November Sparks
I thought I would do a blog on all the lovely "heart" items in the November listing club, however Stars and Scars beat me to it. You can have a look at those too here
So I'm without a theme so I decided to go for the beautiful items that are not connected in any other way than that they are November Sparks on Folksy!
Here we go:

Ocktober Folk Fest for Men
I looked back over my blog posts and realised that most of the items I featured were for the girls. I realise that we often find getting presents for men rather more difficult so I decided to see what the October Folk Festers had to offer for the blokes we care about. It turned out to be quite a few lovely things:
These scooters are great, I'm sure there will be a few Scrubs lovers who'd like a nice scooter print to dream over like JD does!
And your Top Gear maniac may dream over this beautiful grille
All of which makes me realise I have nothing yet to offer the men..... Shame on me, I will endeavour to put this right asap. Please feel free to comment on what kind of things you men would like and I'll see if there is anything I can provide in my shop. But please keep it clean!!!
May be a notebook would be something you'd like but what kind of designs would you like, geometric or abstracts or maybe cars? Please let me know, it may spark me off to do a whole new range of things. Surely it has to be better than socks or toiletries.....

Knitted and crocheted wanna-haves!
I wasn't planning to do a blog today, but I saw all these lovely woollies and just had to! There is absolute no reason to be cold this winter with this abundance of gorgeous hats, scarves and gloves about! I was looking at some mass produced hats and scarf sets today and they were £17. Boring and expensive for something you see every other person wearing. Therefore my motto is:
Get something from Folksy!
Get something from Folksy!
And I have something knitted in my shop too, not a scarf or hat but nice nevertheless.
